Arlewood Estate, established in 1984, is located in the Forest Grove sub-region of Margaret River. The area is characterised by a comparatively cooler climate providing ideal conditions for grape growing. The company has become known for producing elegant, complex and fragrant wines.
This classic white is a blend of 56% Semillon and 44% Sauv Blanc, partly fermented in seasoned French oak barrels. It was then matured on lees for two months resulting in a beautiful medium yellow colour. The wine exhibits fresh aromas of citrus, snow pea and crushed lemon grass on the nose. Matching citrus flavours on the intense palate are beautifully laced with herbaceous crunch notes. These complex flavours are balanced by a zesty and refreshing acidity while the seasoned French oak lends the wine an impressive structure and lingering finish. You may pair it with roasted chicken or white fishes.
