Baileys of Glenrowan was one of the original pioneers of wine production in North-East Victoria and produced its first vintage in 1870. Since this time Baileys has become renowned for consistently producing intensely flavoured rich wines.
Richard Bailey, the founder of Baileys of Glenrowan, brought his family to Australia in the 1850's. The family moved to North-East Victoria in the late 1860's and Varley Bailey (Richards son) made the first wine. Since this time the region has become world renowned for its ultra premium red & fortified wines. Baileys of Glenrowan continues to be recognised today as a world-class producer of full flavoured reds and luscious fortified wines.
