Produced using estate grown fruit, this Reserve Shiraz was aged for a considerable amount of time in French oak barrels. This full-bodied wine shows a deep ink red hue. Both the complex nose and juicy palate display blackberry, plum, mocha, liquorice and spice characters. The soft and luxurious palate also packs soft tannins, finishing with lingering nuances of blackberry and plum. Grilled beef, venison and strong cheeses taste wonderful with this bold red wine.

A boutique winery, Barfold Estate is a family-owned wine company. It is situated at the southwest end of Heathcote in Central Victoria. Sandra Aitken, Winemaker as well as Viticulturist, believes in the philosophy of using small batches of fruit, select oak and natural yeasts to craft Barfold’s elegant and flavoursome wines.
