Bellwether Tamar Valley Chardonnay 2017 - 6 Bottles
Availability: In stock

Green apple, some meal and gun-smoke with underlying notes of flint and chalk. The acid is lively and tangy with great freshness and drive. The palate is full with meal, honey and nougat notes which are offset nicely by the flint and struck match character which balances the wine very nicely. Grown by Jan and David Jenkinson from the Bundaleera Vineyard Relbia Southern Tamar Valley Tasmania. Hand pruned, handpicked and whole-bunch pressed. Fermentation takes place in French oak puncheons, one third new using indigenousness yeast. The wine is left in elevage for 9 months before bottling and aging in bottle before release.
