Berrigan Chardonnay 2021 Mount Benson - 12 Bottles
Availability: In stock

This Chardonnay was sourced from a premium vineyard close to the winery and the fruit was harvested at sunrise. Poured into a glass, it showcases a light golden straw colour. The slow ripening allows the elegant floral and stone fruit flavours to gently accumulate in perfect harmony alongside the sugars and phenolics in the grapes. The soft and creamy palate exhibits fresh zing of acidity and flavours of peach, lemon and vanilla cream with a hint of coffee. Enjoy this wonderful wine with soft and hard cheeses, seafood, caesar salad, or pan-seared fish.
Chief winemaker Dan Berrigan founded Berrigan Wines in 2003 when he discovered the cool climate wine regions of Mount Benson and Robe in South Australia. The cooler climate enables slow ripening of grapes which further builds deep colour and flavour in the grape skins, while also allowing the seed tannins to be ripe when it’s time for the harvest season. The winery handcrafts premium wines that are unique, interesting and absolutely delicious.
