The richly flavoured fruit used to produce this elegant Riesling was harvested from 40 year old grapevines planted in the Schrapel family vineyards. This wonderful Late Harvest Riesling is a stunning white wine showing light golden hints. The attractive bouquet exhibits intense aromas of passionfruit and citrus. The luscious palate is packed with concentrated flavours of passionfruit, spiced pear, citrus and cinnamon. These aromas and flavours are supported by firm acidity, which paves the way for a crisp and refreshing finale. This elegant dessert wine has the potential to be cellared for up to 5 years, tasting superb with pâté, apple crumble brûlée, or soft and creamy cheeses like Camembert and Brie. It also pairs exceptionally well with melon, baked cheesecakes and tropical fruits.

WINERY INFORMATION

Bethany Wines was established to fulfil the vision of the Schrapel brothers, Robert and Geoffrey. They envisioned producing well balanced and elegant wines that would capture the unique terroir characteristics of the Barossa Ranges. The winemaking team produces these flavoursome wines using fruits from the estate’s own vineyards, managed by the family since the year 1852. The brand was established in 1981.
