Blessington Road owns lush vineyards that are surrounded by the breathtaking White Hills. The estate is visible from the beautiful Scout Island and North Esk River. The brand specialises in the production of cool climate Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay wines. The winemaking team crafts these wines in a facility located just 10 minutes south of Launceston, in Tasmania.
The grapes used to produce this beautiful Blessington Road Pinot Noir were harvested, crushed, and fermented in open vats. Poured into a glass, the wine shows a cherry red colour. The fragrant nose emanates lively aromas of strawberries, cherries and dark chocolate, accompanied by light smoky and earthy notes in the backdrop. The rich and soft palate packs luscious flavours of cherries, ripe fruits, berries and chocolate. These magnificent characters are supported by balancing acidity and supple tannins, to culminate the drink in a lingering finish. This spectacular Pinot Noir has the potential to be cellared for up to 8 years, tasting marvellous with lamb ragout, Peking duck and Italian cheeses.
