Australia celebrates one big event; Sydney Writers Festival the biggest annual celebration of writers.
Everyone around the country is gathered each year to be a part of this big event, everyone does their part in reaching out to people with the same interest; and that is the life of literature. From authors of fiction, nonfiction and the like, it is also driven by the well known individuals like scientists and journalists around the country.
When the calendar starts to open for the month of May, everyone who has fashion for literature is already thrilled as this event offers more than 300 events. And, the great thing about this is, most of these are for free.

Usually tickets were released upon announcement of the program which is around April. It’s recommended to purchase tickets ahead of time for tickets are so in demand. For free events, it requires first come first served basis as it has limited slots and sits. The free events are usually held at regional and suburban venues around the area.

The whole event sometimes runs for a week, different places around Sydney present different authors and prestige individuals to reach out with their aspirant of the same kind and avid readers for that whole week. This year’s festival is scheduled for 20th to the 26th day of May.
