The first grapevines of Hunter Valley were planted in the 1820s, making them the first ever vines to be planted in all of Australia! The most iconic and loved variety from the Hunter region is the exquisite Semillon grape. Other notable wine varieties from this region include Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz & Verdelho.
