Cumulus Wines is one of the most respected and beloved wineries in the Central Ranges of Orange wine region. Cumulus Wines has shown immense dedication and passion towards the craft and shown their talent in winemaking by aptly representing the wine traditions of New South Wales. It all started back in the 80s when some intellectuals recognized the potential of Orange region’s fertile soils and favourable climatic conditions. They purchased a 500 – hectare vineyard in the region, upon which they built a 10,000 – tonne winery with a capacity of storing up to 8 million litres of wine. In the year 2004, they changed the company’s original name to ‘Cumulus Wines’.

Rolling Shiraz

Cumulus Wines has given birth to a number of special and diverse brands. Out of these, the Rolling variety has been the most celebrated range. The fruit used to produce these wines is sourced from the Rolling Hills of Central Ranges where the grapes receive ample amount of sunlight and

l winds, thus yielding grapes of bright colours and intense flavours.

The Rolling Shiraz is a wonderfully juicy and flavoursome wine, which is the most loved varietal of this lot. It has a crimson – red colour with the edges highlighted by purple tinges. Lovely fragrances of red berries and plums flow from the bouquet while the fruit – driven palate contains spicy hints and subtle oak notes coupled with fine tannins. The wine is capable of cellaring for about three years and can be enjoyed most when served with roast or barbecued meats marinated with spices.
