Taltarni T Series

Today, Taltarni continues to craft wines of excellent quality and consistency among the greatest speciality wineries in the world. Taltarni presents three exciting wine blends in its flagship T-series. The wine collection includes well-loved Brut, Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc.

Taltarni T Series Brut is a non-vintage sparkling wine made from perfect combination of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It is made from premium quality grapes mostly sourced from Pyrenees Vineyard with a mixture of other parcels from selected blocks in Bendigo, Adelaide Hills and Alpine Valley. The wine is a made of 70% current vintage and 30% aged vintages matured in stainless steel and seasoned French oak barrels. It displays a pale lemon colour with bright shades of green. The palate is a festive line-up of zesty citrus, juicy white peach and creamy strawberry characters. The explosion of flavours is complemented by a silky smooth texture leading to a crisp, clean and refreshing finish.

Low yielding vines create a luxurious red wine style in Taltarni T Series Shiraz. Sourced from well-maintained vineyards of Pyrenees, premium quality grapes are fermented from six to nine days before maturation in oak for 12 to 16 months; with minimal intervention to preserve the innately intense characters of Shiraz. The wine presents a rich bouquet of ripe cherry and subtle hints of chocolate mocha. Surprising notes of dark pepper and juicy peach complement the fragrant aromas. This medium-bodied wine is built by generous fruits on the palate with velvety smooth tannins capping the flavours to a persistent and delicate finish.

And last but not the least comes the Taltarni T Series Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh grapes are sourced from Pyrenees and Tasmania for this wine. The quick process from harvesting to fermentation helps to lock in the delectable flavours of the wine while light ageing in oak creates complexity in the structure. This wine is generously fruit-driven from start to finish with finely beaded acidity creating a consistent mouth-feel all throughout. The combination of two of the finest wine regions results to an excellent wine structure with complexity and depth.
