Taylors’ wine legacy began 40 years back when Bill Taylor Sr. along with his sons Bill and John decided to embark on a journey to create remarkable – quality wines in their own unique style. After a long and thorough research, they finally purchased land by the Wakefield River in Clare Valley to establish their winery and vineyard. Spanning an area of 178 hectares, the estate is covered with high – quality Terra Rossa soils that are perfect for the yield of outstanding grape varieties. The great climatic equation of warm days and cool nights in this region provides a subtle balance between the ripening of grapes and their resting intervals.

The wines produced under the Promised Land label are manufactured using grapes harvested mainly from the Clare Valley region, along with premium vineyards in South Australian regions like Barossa Valley, Coonawarra and Padthaway.
Taylors Promised Land Unwooded Chardonnay is an exquisite white wine that gives off lifted aromas of yellow peach from its bouquet with underlying hints of lemon juice and tropical fruits. The medium-bodied palate holds flavours of yellow peach, accompanied by light notes of citrus and pineapple flavours. It tastes best served immediately upon release with foods like spicy Asian cuisines, fruit and vegetable salads, and chicken and fish dishes.
