Killerby Wines

Despite being a small-scale winery in the 1970s, Killerby wines became a popular choice for Aussies, leading the pack of wine producers in Western Australia. Killerby is consistent in crafting excellent varietals of wine, from Chardonnay and Semillon, to Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The ideal and strategic location of Killerby Vineyards has proven to be of great importance for the success of the winery.

Geographe and Margaret River wine regions are home to the most experienced, skilful, passionate and hardworking wine artisans in Australia. Killerby wines are precise representations of the rich winemaking tradition in the Margaret River. Every bottle is perfectly crafted to express the great qualities of the region. With the help of the state of the art winemaking facilities at Ferngrove wines in Frankland River, the high-quality products from Killerby vineyards are transformed to delectable wines of great integrity and character.

While Killerby wines maintain its position at the top, the small winery continues to uphold its core principles of enforcing sustainable winemaking techniques and in paying close attention to every detail to improve its craft.

The year 2014 marked a century of Killerby’s trading in the southwest. And to commemorate this momentous event, a limited edition of “The Killerby Icon Cabernet Sauvignon” was released as a way of giving back to their loyal patrons.

My father Dr Benjamin Killerby did not purchase or own a vineyard in Margaret River in 1977 or at anytime! Please delete this inaccuracy!
