Brash Vineyard produces over 135 tonnes of grapes every year, a majority of which is sold to the leading wineries of the Margaret River wine region. 10% of the total fruit harvested annually from this vineyard is used to create an exquisite range of flavoursome wines under the Brash Vineyard label. The wine brand is manufactured at a contract winemaking facility - Naturaliste Vintners, which is owned and managed by Senior Winemaker Bruce Dukes.
The fruit for this fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested from the single vineyard site in Yallingup Hills. This delightful Cab Sauv displays a dark ruby colour with magenta tinges. A swirl of the glass reveals scintillating aromas of glazed cherries, violets and wet granite, accompanied by light suggestions of cassis, cedar and forest floor. A sip of the wine presents pleasing flavours of mulberries, raspberries and gravel tones. Supported by firm tannins and bright minerality, these great characters end the wine in a captivating and satisfying finish. Suggested food pairings for this enticing red wine include braised lamb shanks, chimichurri and aged Cheddar cheese.
