Casa Freschi Malbec 2018 Langhorne Creek - 6 Bottles
Availability: In stock

Poured into a glass, this Malbec showcases a crimson colour and royal purple rim. A whiff of the wine reveals exuberant blueberry, rhubarb, spice and violet aromas. These are followed by an intense palate with similar flavours supported by a backbone of fine tannins. Saline minerality enhances these characteristics, paving the way for a pleasant finish. It’s a great match for tagliatelle with mushroom, and barbecued rare rib eye steak or other beef preparations.
The story of Casa Freschi dates back to the 1950s, when Founder David’s parents migrated from Italy and started viticulture down under. Attilio and Rosa Freschi brought with them their tradition of producing wines in small quantities for friends and family. Following in the footsteps, David established the label Casa Freschi with a small-scale vinification cellar at the Langhorne Creek vineyard. His philosophy is to produce interesting and pure wines that capture the site’s energy and characteristics.
