This delightful Cosmo Sauvignon Blanc was made from berries sourced from three vineyards in the Yarra Valley. Pale straw hued, the nose gently lifts honeydew melon and green passionfruit fragrances with hints of capsicum. The palate runs to a crispy, lime and zesty finish. Blending 3% of aged reserve wines duly enhanced the opulence of this wine. This gentle and delicate Sauv Blanc pairs well with salads, white meat, smoked salmon and air dried ham.
WINERY INFORMATION
Lindsay Corby of Cosmo Wines began his venture into the winemaking industry while still in high school, in 1985. Later, he gained credentials in viticulture and wine science. Today, he is a consultant at Cosmo Wines, a winemaker, a lecturer in Wine and Viticulture, and a successful viticulturist. He has produced budget wines which are subtle, elegant and well balanced.
