This classic Cosmo Shiraz has a deep red violet colour with initial aromas of pepper spice, clove and dark chocolate. New French oak adds spicy traces and fine tannins that complement the fruit cake aromas coming off the bouquet. Developing notes of licorice and earthy notes can also be felt on the palate. The finish is light and smooth. Spicy and full flavoured meat dishes, grilled lamb, hard cheeses, Beef Wellington, and Chili Colorado are some well-matched food items with this elegant wine.

WINERY INFORMATION

With a keen interest in winemaking and dogged determination to learn the intricacies of a vintner’s world, Lindsay Corby started learning about wine while still a high school student. Years later, he is now a qualified viticulturist, a promising winemaker, lecturer, consultant and a successful businessman. His Cosmo Wines has in fact, produced some noteworthy wines.
