Located in the McLaren Vale township, Curtis Family Vineyards produces a premium range of flavoursome wines which are highly popular in the Australian as well as export markets. The Curtis family has been growing nutritious and juicy grapes as well as producing premium wines since 1973. Mark, Thomas and Jenna Curtis manage the daily functioning of the estate under the supervision of their father, Claudio Curtis.
Curtis Red Label Shiraz displays a deep brick red colour with pale red hues along the edges. The attractive bouquet exhibits rich aromas of ripe berries and peppery spices, while the sharp and intense palate is filled with juicy flavours of ripe berries, coffee beans and chocolate coupled with fine and structured tannins, altogether leading to a generous and lingering finish. This medium to full bodied Shiraz can be consumed upon release, or be cellared for about 9 years. Drink it with roasted vegetables, grilled short ribs or tandoori lamb chops.
