Nostalgia Rare Tawny was produced by combining small amounts of Shiraz, Mourvèdre & White Muscat grapes with Grenache grapes. The wine showcases a burnished bronze colour with an olive rim. The attractive bouquet is an amalgam of walnut, rancio and roasted almond aromas. These fragrances further combine with pear, apple, cinnamon, toffee, dried fruit, burnt butter and dried fig characters on the lively palate, balanced by rancio notes. The finish is fresh and captivating. This enticing Rare Tawny tastes great with roast lobster, Turkish coffee cake and crème caramel.

WINERY INFORMATION

d’Arenberg offers 12 outstanding ranges of aromatic, distinctively fruit-flavoured and textured wines, crafted under the supervision of Chief Winemaker Chester Osborn. The company was founded by Joseph Osborn in 1912. Frank Osborn’s brother-in-law, Sam Tolley, played an important role in encouraging him to produce his own wines. After learning more about winemaking at Ryecroft, Frank produced his first vintage in 1928.
