The fruit parcels used to craft Dalfarras Sangiovese were picked from the northern site of the Pogue vineyard. This purple hued Sangiovese presents a bright ruby colour. The luxurious bouquet exudes lush aromas of spice, coupled with savoury notes. These fragrances make way for a juicy palate filled with cherry, dark plum and earthy flavours. The generous characters combined with taut tannins, culminate in a captivating finish. This full flavoured Sangiovese has the potential to be cellared for 2 years from vintage. WINERY INFORMATION

Dalfarras offers a premium range of lively and carbon neutral wines, produced in honour of Rosa’s maiden name – Dal Farra. Rosa Purbrick is a renowned artist living near the Goulburn River in Central Victoria. She married Alister Purbrick, winemaker and owner of Tahbilk Winery, in 1982. Some of her contemporary artworks created on clay, canvas and paper, form the inspiration for the wine labels of this range.
