This Yarra Valley white gets its fruit from Dixons Creek at the northern end of Yarra Valley. It is light straw coloured with green lining. The bouquet of this wine includes aromas of guava with brioche characters and hints of cask fermentation. The medium bodied palate includes flavours of gooseberries and herbs with distinct creaminess that is a result of leaving the fruit on yeast lees. It has a refreshing acidity and decent finish. This Sav Blanc is made for immediate enjoyment and is best had with some Sushi.
Light straw colour with green edges.
Lifted guava fruit with some brioche characters. Hints of cask fermentation and biscuit like lees.
Medium weight palate with hints of gooseberry and herbal notes. Lively acidity and a gentle creamy texture.
Sashimi always fantastic. Cos leaves, cherry tomato and a balsamic vinaigrette not bad either.
