Medium-bodied white wine
Light straw with a green tinge.

Piercing grapefruit, lime and pear with a creamy texture and vanilla French oak with lingering mineral acidity.
The early season growing conditions were dictated by a dry winter and spring before a very hot December and January, bringing forward the onset of vintage to the 18th of February in Frankland River, almost on a par to the warm 2007 vintage. The differing vines within the Chardonnay blocks were harvested separately. The grapes were harvested in the cool of the night and allowed a small amount of cold skin contact before gentle pressing. All batches were fermented in a range of new and one
year old French oak. With periodic lees stirring, the wine was matured for 9 months before blending and subsequent bottling.
Will benefit from careful cellaring for up to 8 years.
This wine is a medley of tangy lime and pear intertwined over a core of citrus and vanilla French oak with lingering mineral acidity.
Serve slightly chilled at 10-16C.
Enjoy with prosciutto-wrapped Figs.
