This rich and intense wine is a blend of 59% Grenache, 33% Shiraz and 8% Mourvédre grapes. The bright cherry red coloured drink emanates an attractive confectionary lift coupled with cherry, raspberry and mulberry aromas from its delightful bouquet. A touch of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, ginger nut biscuits and musk enriches this perfumed nose further, and it effortlessly shifts to an elegant palate. A sip of the red wine reveals luxurious flavours of strawberries, red cherries, raspberries and mulberries, accompanied by chocolate éclair hints. Integrated with focussed tannins, the well structured palate leads to a silky and persistent finale. This wonderful drink has been crafted to consume upon release, but can also be cellared for 5 to 10 years from vintage. Serve it with Gouda cheese, rib eye steak, or venison dishes.
