Winemaking - Some of the Shiraz came from Galli's Block Two, the remainder from block 4 and 5 in the Camelback vineyard. The grapes were co-fermented in open and static fermenters, plunged/pumped over twice daily, pressed and matured in French oak for 10 months (15% new). Racked once, before blending (with some parcels of the Block 2 Shiraz) and ready for bottling. Colour: Crimson-purple Nose: Lovely notes of violet, blackberries, earthy plums, red berries and spices Palate: Fine tannins give good length and balance to go with the intense dark Shiraz fruit characters
