Pretty Good

: A beautiful dark red coloured drink with depth and youthful hues. The drink showcases lifted fruit notes with bright licorice, mulberry, black cherry, tomato leaf, herbs and violets aroma. With a fine tannin structure, length and cleansing acidity, the red berry flavours come up very well in this wine and give a grippy texture to the mid palate. The wine gives a lovely rounded, supple and generous mouthfeel with BBQ lamb skewers, fat Italian sausages, and sticky pork ribs.

WINERY INFORMATION:

Geoff Merrill released the first label in 1983 with his name including a 1980 Cabernet and 1981 Semillon. With a view to establish his own operation, he purchased the beautiful but run-down Mount Hurtle Winery in 1985 and after restoring the property to its full potential, Geoff left to embark on his own venture in 1988. His signature style took his winemaking career to the international stage in 1993. Since then, Geoff continues to gain national and international recognition for his distinctive style of winemaking and zest for life.
