Founded more than 150 years ago, Corryton Park is situated at the southern corner of Barossa Valley near Mount Crawford. Grant Burge had loved this magnificent property since he was a young boy, and he finally purchased it in the year 1999 with the vision of establishing a splendid Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard. This estate has since become an unparalleled site in the Barossa Valley wine region, providing excellent conditions for the growth and cultivation of top notch grapes featuring remarkable flavours, balance and finesse.
This exquisite wine shows a deep plum red hue, exhibiting elegant fragrances of blackcurrant, black cherry, mint, dark chocolate, cinnamon and woody spices. The intensely flavoured palate contains ripe blackcurrant flavours balanced by subtle nuances of cedar, while the smooth and rounded mid palate leads up to a lengthy, refreshing and tannin filled climax. This marvellous Cabernet Sauvignon has the potential to age beautifully over a decade. Serve it with fillet steaks, ribeye steaks or mushroom pizzas to experience the true flavours and character depth of this delicious red wine.
