Haan Estate Barossa Valley Prestige Shiraz 2018 - 6 Bottles
Availability: In stock

Deep red in colour, this wine is made from grapes grown on the rich loam flats of the Barossa Valley floor. Picked at optimal ripeness the wine is full of rich, dark berry fruits. The bouquet has spicy clove and cinnamon flavours with a touch of sweet vanilla to showcase. The palate is rich with berry fruits and soft, rounded tannins. The spiciness of the French oak maturation adds elegance to this bold wine. Tastes best with rib-eye steak with duck fat potatoes or rare roast beef.
Hans and Fransien Haan established the winemaking business in 1993 after purchasing 26.3 hectares of land in the Barossa Valley near Tanunda. An 1850s farmhouse was renovated to create a boutique winery. The first Haan label branded wine was made in 1997 with fruit grown on the estate. Over the years, the brand has produced award-winning wines for the Australian and overseas markets. After 25 years in April 2017, Hans and Fransien Haan sold the brand and leased their vineyard to a Chinese/Australian syndicate. The new owners are equally passionate to produce wines that will achieve the highest accolades and awards in the industry.
