Hardys Nottage Hill Merlot SEA - 6 Bottles
Availability: In stock

Hardys Nottage Hill Merlot displays a deep plum hue with ruby highlights along the edges. The attractive bouquet exudes mesmerising aromas of berry, plum and blackcurrant along with oak, aniseed, warm spice and tobacco notes. The soft and balanced palate revals cherry, plum and sweet oak flavours. Followed by lifted spice hints, these characters integrate with fine tannins to eventually culminate in a lingering finish. This delicious red tastes marvellous with roast beef, lamb rack, or grilled vegetables alongside hard cheese.

WINERY INFORMATION
Family owned, Hardys is managed by fifth generation winemaker, William (Bill) Hardy. Bill continues to carry forward the family’s winemaking legacy, which was initiated by his great, great grandfather, Thomas Hardy in 1853. Wines under the Nottage Hill range are produced using grapes sourced from a premium vineyard at Tintara. The vineyard was named after Old Tom Nottage, who retired in 1950 after managing the family winery for 66 years.
