WHY DO WE LIKE THIS WINE

Sourced from a single vineyard, this pale straw-coloured Pinot Grigio was aged on yeast lees for two months, then clarified and bottled early to retain freshness. The resultant wine reveals aromas of Nashi pear, honeydew and peach blossom. A delicate structured palate is complemented by typical varietal flavours of pear and melon. Supported by balanced acidity, it eventually culminates in a dry finish. You may pair it with chargrilled salmon.

Established in 1981, Haselgrove winery is surrounded by over 10 hectares of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mataro, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Although renowned for producing rich and robust award-winning reds from McLaren Vale, their whites are also making ripples with wine writers and on the wine show circuit. The winery focuses on small batch production, allowing the blending of small parcels of wine to create high-quality wines.
