Jacob’s Creek Reserve Pinot Noir features a garnet colour accompanied by crimson hints. The bouquet exudes aromas of strawberry and charry oak that are balanced by a touch of truffle and earthy nuances. These complex yet harmonious fragrances pave the way for a wonderful palate revealing intense flavours of cherry & strawberry. These characters are complemented by soft tannins, eventually culminating in a savoury finish. This red is a great match for mushroom ragu with parmesan polenta, or roast duck.

WINERY INFORMATION

The story of Jacob’s Creek began in 1847, when Johann Gramp purchased a 30 ha property and planted his first vines along the banks of Jacob’s Creek. It became the first ever commercial vineyard in the Barossa region. Johann released his first wine around 1850, after the establishment of a small winery and underground cellar, marking the beginning of a successful winemaking legacy.
