Featuring a beautiful red colour, Lake Breeze Winemaker’s Selection Shiraz is an exclusive wine prepared in the finest barrels and only released in limited quantities. WS Shiraz has an uplifting nose, showing blackberry, aniseed and chocolate fragrances. The palate is amazingly full and luscious, with excellent length of flavour and soft tannins on the finale. This wine will improve with cellaring over the next 15 years. Pair this classic, rich and velvety Shiraz wine with beef or venison.
With its history dating back to the 1850s, the Follett family - the owners of Lake Breeze Wines, has been growing grapes in Langhorne Creek for over 120 years. The first Lake Breeze wine was produced in 1987, which led to the opening of the cellar door in 1991. Lake Breeze has earned an enviable reputation for consistently producing award winning South Australian wines. The business is now collectively run by Greg (Winemaker), Roger (Sales Manager) and Tim (Vineyard Manager).
