: This Cab Sav was hand harvested and matured in oak barrels. It underwent maceration for a period of 6 weeks resulting in gorgeous deep ruby colour. A swirl of the glass reveals fragrances of berry compote and read earth along with undertones of dried bay leaves. These aromas are followed by a wonderful palate offering gentle flavours of oak that are complemented by spicy nuances. Soft tannins pave the way for a lengthy and complex finish. This varietal wine can best be enjoyed with slow braised lamb ribs or thyme roasted mushroom.
