Pretty Good

Harvested in the cold nights, the fruit used to craft this beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon was destemmed and transferred to open fermenters. Post-maturation in French hogsheads for 16 months, McW 660 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, flaunts a vibrant combination of red and purple colour. The attractive bouquet emanates pleasing aromas of blackberry, bay leaf and dark chocolate fruits, with graphite oak notes following close behind. The structured and full-bodied palate is rife with juicy flavours of dark chocolate fruits and silky cassis, which eventually paved the way for a dry and captivating finale. Fine-grained tannins accompany the finish. Crafted to be relish upon release, this good Cab Sauv can benefit from a medium-term cellaring potential. It can be served with slow cooked beef with creamy mash or pork and veal meatball spaghetti.
