Situated on Miamup Road in Cowaramup in Western Australia, Miles From Nowhere manufactures an award winning range of fruity and textural wines. The company owns 2 vineyard sites surrounded by beautiful gum trees, spread across 47 hectares. The company was established in 2007 by skilled winemakers - Franklin and Heather Tate.
The juicy grapes used to produce Best Blocks Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested, and crushed into stainless steel fermenters. The juice obtained was pumped over and left on skins. This deep red hued Cabernet Sauvignon showcases a brick red haze. The aromatic nose flaunts pleasing scents of ripe berries and dry herbs such as aniseed and sage. These fragrances make way for a rich and soft palate filled with concentrated fruit flavours and balanced tannins. This full bodied Cab Sauv ends in an elegant, yet powerful and long finish. Made for consumption upon release, this mouth watering red wine has the potential to be cellared for six years. It tastes fantastic with mustard and herb crusted rack of lamb, served with sautéed vegetables.
