Lock & Key Rosé is a stunning blend of 50% Nebbiolo grapes with 50% Sangiovese grapes. The juice obtained from these fruit parcels was cold fermented till dry. This process led to the creation of a pink coloured wine offering orange shades along the edges. A whiff of the wine reveals wonderful aromas of mandarin, watermelon, citrus and rockmelon. The juicy palate packs delicious flavours of rhubarb, fresh cherries and red berries, supported by floral and savoury notes. These flavours and fragrances fuse together to culminate in a crisp and refreshing finale. This dry Rosé can be enjoyed best with spicy Mediterranean as well as Asian cuisine.

WINERY INFORMATION

After spending several years in wine retail, Jason Brown decided to produce his own collection of world class wines. In 2002, Jason started to search for an ideal vineyard site to pursue his winemaking dreams. Two years later, Jason and his wife Alecia purchased Moppity Vineyards, which was first planted in the year 1973. As a skilled winemaker, Jason ensures that the regional characteristics of the vineyard are clearly expressed in his wines.
