WINERY INFORMATION:

Established back in the 80s, Mount Horrocks Wines in the Clare Valley region was purchased by Stephanie Toole in 1993. The estate owns three organic vineyards recognized by the ACO (Australian Certified Organic). The Cordon Cut vineyard in Auburn, situated about 340 meters above sea level, is where grape varieties like Cordon-cut Riesling, Shiraz, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon and Nero d’Avola are planted. The site enjoys a sub-tropical to warm climate, ideal for crafting the Cordon Cut Riesling, a richer and more focused white dessert wine.
