Nepenthe Altitude Pinot Noir features a light crimson red colour with purple shades. The fresh and vibrant palate presents juicy flavours of summer fruits, supported by spicy nuances from oak treatment. These wonderful flavours and fragrances combine to provide a firm structure, ending the wine in a long and savoury finale. This delightful Pinot Noir has been crafted to be enjoyed within a cellaring term of 3 to 5 years. It compliments food like roast duck with classical cherry sauce and sheep’s milk cheese.

WINERY INFORMATION

The Tweddell family bought a lush piece of land in the Lenswood sub-region in 1994. They planted 24ha of grapevines on the acquired plot, to produce a wide range of premium and balanced wines. This laid down the foundation of Nepenthe. The company specialises in producing full flavoured, award winning wines, using premium fruit parcels from the estate-owned vineyards spread across Adelaide Hills.
