Pretty Good

: Opaque purple-red with a vibrant purple hue. Leads with a dense, solid ripe black fruited nose then spicy, whole bunch notes that add cinnamon, cloves and a twiggy element. Complexity over pure fruit that changes with air. The palate has a core of ripe blackberry and poached plum fruit and chacuterie that is corralled and controlled with firm, slightly gravelly tannins. Under the black fruit there is the tell-tale curry leaf and brown spice complexity that comes from the whole bunch inclusion. A stayer, not a sprinter.
