Peter Lehmann Botrytis Semillon 2021 Barossa Valley 375ml -12 Bottles
Availability: In stock

A beautiful golden colour which will intensify with bottle age. In 2017 there was a high level of botrytis infection in three of our Semillon vineyards and this is reflected in the bouquet which is chock full of honey and lime marmalade characters. The palate is deliciously luscious and is counterbalanced by the natural acidity, making this a dessert wine of the highest pedigree. These wines can be matured for quite a few years during which time they become richer in colour and more complex. The cool, damp conditions in 2017 encouraged botrytis to appear at the end of the season in three of our Semillon vineyards and this developed to a high degree, enabling us to make arguably the best botrytis Semillon in our history to date.
