WINERY INFORMATION

Located in the heart of Hunter Valley wine region, Bimbadgen Wines offer a fantastic range of balanced and exquisite wines, showcasing strong regional characteristics. The company covers two flourishing vineyards predominantly planted with Shiraz, Chardonnay and Semillon grapes. Palmers Lane Vineyard was established in 1968. The Lee family purchased the company in 1997 and had since then emerged as one of the reputed vineyards of the region. 

TASTING NOTES

The fruit parcels used to produce Bimbadgen Signature Chardonnay were harvested, the whole bunch pressed and then transferred to French oak barrels. The juice was further treated with yeasts and stirred with lees. This led to the creation of a pale green coloured Chardonnay displaying a yellow rim. The fragrant nose emits lively scents of grapefruit, oak, flint and struck a match. The textured palate is rife with balanced flavours of nectarine, white peach and gentle oak, ending the wine in a captivating finale. This enticing Chardonnay has been crafted to be enjoyed within a cellaring term of 5 to 10 years. It tastes marvellous with grilled pork fillet with braised apple and red cabbage.
