Product Description

Selected parcels of fruit were harvested in excellent condition. The Colombard being well squeezed to release the intense flavours in the skins and the Chardonnay gently pressed to retain varietal character and freshness. The Colombard and Chardonnay are fermented cool and slow to retain the primary fruit flavours of the grape. The subsequent wine is left on primary yeast lees to build weight and a creaminess on the palate.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance is very pale. Strap yourself in! It is a full-on passionfruit whack to the olfactory gland! This fruit driven wine full of pungent passionfruit and tropical flavours and a defining green apple acid backbone. Serve with confit of Petuna Ocean Trout With a Salad of Celery, Witlof, Apple & Unpasteurised Ocean Trout Roe.
