The Accomplice wines are a range of easy drinking wine varietals and blends produced by De Bortoli Wines, a family owned and operated winery located in the Riverina region of New South Wales. It was established in 1928 by Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli.
TASTING NOTES
The fruits used to craft The Accomplice Sweet Escape Red were cold soaked and fermented on skins for 48 hours to retain the desired sweet fruit flavours and aromas in the wine. This magnificent Sweet Escape Red features bright crimson red hues. The attractive nose offers rich aromas of sweet berry and cherry fruit. The palate is fresh and juicy, brimming with flavours of raspberry, blackberry and red cherries balanced by soft and fine tannins, leading to a captivating and refreshing finale. Crafted to relish upon release, this medium bodied red wine pairs best with Italian food such as pizza and pasta.
