Pertaringa is part of the Bec Hardy Wines portfolio, a family-owned winery based in McLaren Vale. The Pertaringa vineyards were originally established in 1980 by renowned South Australian vigneron Geoff Hardy, who co-founded the site with Ian Leask. The name “Scarecrow” pays tribute to the scarecrows once used to keep birds away from the family’s vineyards. Today, the Pertaringa range continues under the ownership and direction of Geoff’s daughter, Bec Hardy, who upholds the family’s legacy with a modern and sustainable approach to winemaking.

Pertaringa Scarecrow Sauvignon Blancfrom Geoff Hardy Wines is a transparent wine showing light green tinges. The aromatic nose exudes vibrant scents of guava, passionfruit and citrus blossom. The luscious palate packs lychee, gooseberries and green pawpaw flavours, culminating in a crisp and refreshing finish. This beautiful Sauv Blanc has been crafted to be relished immediately upon release.
