It benefited from an earlier than usual vintage with warmer and drier conditions allowing the fruit to achieve full flavour development. We took the Cabernet Sauvignon out of barrel after nine months to accentuate the purity and vibrancy of the fruit, while providing structure and aging potential.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eTASTING NOTES\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eIn the glass this wine has a youthful red hue. The nose boasts of aromatic blackcurrant and traces of smoke and dried herbs. A medium bodied composition dominated by characters of juicy cassis, raspberry and blueberry fruit. Great texture provided by silky tannins, giving this wine a seamless long finish. The wine was matured in a mix of one and two year old French hogsheads for 9 months.
