Originally planted to Pinot Noir with a planting density of between 3,500 - 8,000 vines per hectare, the site also holds Pinot Gris and Chardonnay on various rootstocks. Both varietals are planted with a density of between 3,500-5,000 vines per hectare.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTASTING NOTES\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eQuartz Reef Pinot Gris exhibits flavours of ripe pear, peach and marzipan with a rich texture and an off-dry mineral finish. Colour is lemon gold. Aroma is nutmeg, honey, ginger and white peach. The palate is rich and textural with a delicious fine acidity.
