The Shaw family boasts over 35 years of expertise in the wine industry. Driven by a vision of family involvement, Richard and Marie Shaw expanded their vineyard holdings from a mere 5 acres to over 1,200 acres, making them prominent vineyard owners in the premium cool climate zones of McLaren Vale and Currency Creek in South Australia. With an aspiration to produce top-tier wines for global enthusiasts, they built a state-of-the-art winery in 2000. Their wines, crafted from grapes harvested from their family vineyards, are presented under distinguished labels such as Shaw Family Vintners, Stonemason, Steeplejack, Single Vineyard, Emetior, and RMS.

Tasting Notes :

Marked as the most sought-after wine from Currency Creek, this Shiraz is genuine in its presentation. It opens with immediate black cherry candy and strawberry fruit notes that gracefully transition into a medley of mixed berries and pepper upon tasting. While the wine boasts a robust structure marked by pronounced tannins and firm acidity, it delivers a lasting impression on the palate. However, its finish is slightly more restrained. This Shiraz is an excellent selection for laid-back barbecue gatherings.
