Product Description
Printhie Wines is a family owned and run wine company, managed by the Swift family. Jim and Ruth Swift planted 12ha grapevines on a 500ha property in 1996, laying the foundation of the company. The company’s winery was built in 2004. This wine was awarded Best Sparkling at the 2016 Royal Melbourne Wine Awards.
TASTING NOTES
Swift Cuvée is a stylish fusion of 70% Chardonnay grapes with 30% Pinot Noir grapes. These grapes were handpicked and then aged in lees. This led to the creation of a yellow gold-hued wine accompanied by persistent bubbles. A swirl of the glass reveals scintillating fruit aromas. Fresh white fruit and citrus flavours from Chardonnay grapes combine with strawberry notes from Pinot Noir grapes to offer a rich and intense palate. These beautiful characters culminate the wine in an elegant and captivating finale. This enticing Cuvée has been crafted to be enjoyed after a cellaring term of 5 years. It best compliments foods like fish tacos, fresh spring rolls, and BBQ chicken sandwich.
