Tatachilla vineyards and winery enjoy the clean and crisp waters of St Vincent Gulf. Though reopened in 1995, Tatachilla has a vibrant history which dates back to 1903. Currently offering two ranges - Home is the Vale and The Wanderer's Collection, Tatachilla wines are a reflection of McLaren Vale's rolling hills, the sun & sea soaked lands, and red sandstone ridges.
TASTING NOTES :
Showing a ruby red colour with violet hues, Tatachilla Drops On Tide Cabernet Sauvignon is like summer rain on warm rock minerality. Its bouquet reveals aromas of cassis and mint with hints of spice. The wine has a smooth rolling palate filled with blackberry flavours and soft, textural tannins. The finish is enticing & satisfactory. This medium-bodied Cab Sauv will taste best when paired with lamb cooked on the charcoal BBQ.
