Winemaking:
The grapes for this wine were sourced from the winery's own vineyard, where the soil profile consists of brown to red loam over limestone. The mild to hot days, followed by cool Clare Valley nights, created ideal conditions for ripening, while maintaining fresh flavours. The fruit was harvested in mid-March and fermented on skins in static stainless steel fermenters until dryness. Traditional basket pressing contributed to the wine's mid-palate structure and length, providing a round, approachable style. Bottled with an alcohol content of 14.50%.

Tasting Notes:
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon offers a medium to full-bodied wine with impressive drinkability. Rich aromas of mulberry, herbaceous notes, and cassis lead into a palate of juicy berry flavours, which provide excellent depth and balance. Fine tannins and subtle oak notes enhance the wine's mid-palate structure, giving it a smooth, round, and voluptuous finish. The wine offers a lingering aftertaste and has a cellaring potential of 3 to 5 years, promising further development in complexity.
