Prophet’s Rocky Home Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Noir 2019 - 6 Bottles
Availability: In stock

This Pinot Noir was aged in 35% new French oak barrels for a period of 17 months. Bottled unfiltered, it flaunts a rich ruby colour. A swirl of the glass exhibits floral, red berry fruit aromas along with a touch of spice. These fragrances pave the way for a mineral-driven and well-structured palate that showcases silky tannins and balancing acidity eventually culminating in a long finish. Enjoy this red with fennel-garlic pork roast, or lamb dishes.

Prophet’s Rocky was founded in the year 1999. The brand sources fruit from two vineyards, The Home Vineyard and Rocky Point, that are located in the Bendigo subregion. Committed to protect the environment, the company is a member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (A program wherein the members adhere to the standards and guidelines laid down by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine). The wines are crafted by Paul Pujol, who has worked in French wine regions and hence, a strong essence of his experience is present in the wines.
